Crtive.LA is a student-produced podcast that highlights the stories and work of creatives across Los Angeles. Each episode is recorded live with an audience at 4:00 PM on the first Thursday of the month at Ramon C. Cortines School of Visual & Performing Arts, inside the iconic Coop Himmelblau building in Downtown LA.
The project gives students hands-on experience in media production while providing the opportunity to learn directly from creative professionals. Blending storytelling, education, and community, Crtive.LA offers a unique platform where students and local artists can share, connect, and grow together.
Launched in 2025 by educator Oliver Shipley and a group of photography students, the podcast continues to celebrate the creative spirit of Los Angeles.
